The summer kicks off with a traditional Hot American Cars –event on Saturday 14^th of June. The day is filled with gorgeous cars and music!

Ideapark’s tennis and padel courts are free to use during the summer season. There are four courts for padel and two for tennis. Courts are in the Ideapark courtyard, between doors B and C. Rackets can be rented from Juvesport. Gather up with your friends and come enjoy a game or two at Ideapark!

Build with LEGO’s for free all summer in Central Square from 18^th of June till 10^th of August at LEGO Park! Build your own city with colorful blocks or use your imagination building with only red LEGO’s! For smaller children, there is a special area for DUPLO’s. This is your chance to let your creativity free!

It is definitely worth participating in the summer raffle at Central Square between 18^th of June and 10^th of August. The prize, 1000€ Ideapark gift card, will guarantee a true shopping experience for the winner.

Summer art workshops and the Poetry Living Room at Cultural Centre PiiPoo inspire to creativity between July 1^st and 24^th Tue-Thu from 11am to 4pm. The workshops include painting, crafting and playing – so loads of fun activities! Read more about the art workshops from Cultural Centre PiiPoo’s website. The Poetry Living Room is open during the opening hours of Cultural Centre PiiPoo, so feel free to spend your time with Kirsi Kunnas children poems and rhimes for as long as you like. In addition, PiiPoo’s summer also includes nonstop activities.

Waterworld Louhi, located 30 meters underground, welcomes you to its versatile pools for a swim and warm saunas to relax in. Good swimming conditions are guaranteed in any weather! Louhi, the waterworld for the whole family, is open daily from 6 am to 9pm, with the exception of Midsummer Eve, 20^th of June, and Midsummer Day, 21^st of June, when Louhi is closed.

The entertainment center Viihdekeskus offers plenty of fun activities during the summer as well! A full-blooded karting track, 18-hole minigolf course, a play area and the children’s activity park guarantee that the time will pass like a breeze. Check current opening hours and offerings here.

Finland’s biggest SALE kicks off after Midsummer. Amongst over 150 stores, you are guaranteed to make great shopping finds!

Ideapark’s charming summer also offers a thrill as the HYAcenter Rally kicks off on July 26^th. There is the roar of the engine and the thrill of speed as the test rally is driven over six special challenges. The rally’s start and finish points, as well as the maintenance area, are located in Ideapark. The thrill of the rally can be hyped up already during the week as the Rally week starts on Saturday July 19^th. During the Rally week you can freely enjoy and explore the car exhibition in Central Square. In Central Square you will also find simulator to test your driving skills with.

In August, there is going to be a lot of spinning and charm on the dance floor. During Back to Dance event on 9^th of August, the students from the Pirkanmaa Dance School delight the audience with wonderful dance performances at Central Square. On August 21^st everyone is welcome to join on the dance floor as the popular Thursday Dances kick off for the autumn season.

A charming flower paradise at Ideapark

Ideapark is involved in strengthening biodiversity. When arriving from north to Ideapark, the grass area around the big screen, has been converted into a perennial meadow. Meadow vegetation provides a habitat for a greater variety of organisms and helps pollinators, which are vital to us all. In future, we get to enjoy beautiful flowers blooming, while also strengthening biodiversity. A path will be made for the area where you can freely take pictures and admire the flowers. However, the flowers are not intended to be collected, so that the meadow can continue to develop and we can enjoy the flowers for years to come.
