Sijainti ja saapuminen

It’s easy to come to Ideapark! Ideapark is in Lempäälä, in the center of southern Finland, only about 18 kilometers from the center of Tampere. You can easily get here by bus, by car, on foot or by bike. Read more here.

Parking

There are free parking spaces for 3,000 cars in ​​Ideapark. The A-end has 40 charging points for electric cars.

Caravans

Caravans and motorhomes can stay overnight in the Ideapark parking area without separate services. In the spring of 2025, electric outlets will be arranged in a separately defined area.

Electric car charging

One of the Finland’s largest electric cars charging stations is in Ideapark. There are charging points for 40 cars at the A end and 2 at the D end of Ideapark. The charging points are provided by Plugit, and payment is made with the Plugit App. Read more here.

Public transport

Several busoperators take you to Ideapark from early in the morning until late in the evening. Among others, line 50 (Tampere-Lempäälä) runs next to Ideapark. In addition, line 60 runs between Valkeakoski, Ideapark and Tampere daily, and line 63 between Valkeakoski and Lempäälä on weekdays. The Nysse ticket is accepted on the lines in question. Please note that all busses do not run along Ideaparkinkatu, but pass Ideapark along road 130 (the road to Valkeakoski).

Defibrillator

There are six defibrillators in Ideapark: at the information point on the corner of Central Square, in front of Prisma (end D), in front of Miniman (end A), in Entertainment Center Viihdekeskus, Bläk Box and in Caravan area in the parking lot.

Chapel

Ideakappeli, the chapel of the Lempäälä parish, is in Ideapark’s Old Town. Sit down in a silence for a while to calm down during your shopping day.

Info

Ideapark info point, located on the edge of Central Square near the Linkosuo cafe, serves customers on weekdays 9 – 21, on Saturdays 9 – 20 and on Sundays 11 – 18.

Drink vending machines

At each entrance and toilet corridors of Ideapark there are drink vending machines that work with coins and bank cards.

Dogs

Pets are welcome in the general areas of the shopping center together with their owners – apart from the nursery rooms, where dogs are not allowed. Please note, however, that the animal cannot be left alone, and it must not disturb other customers. We also kindly ask you to take care of any poops and take them to the trash can. Each business decides whether they accept animal customers on their premises.

A dog park is located near the B entrance. There are booths for eight dogs (inside dimensions of an individual booth: width 82 cm, height 100 cm and depth 100 cm). The use of the dog park is the dog owner’s own responsibility. The doors are locked with a deposit of one euro (€1). Water can be picked up at information point or sanitary facilities. Also remember that a car is not a suitable place for a pet in hot weather.

Childcare services

Ideapark does not have an actual daycare center for children, but children can play on Saturdays at Culture Center PiiPoo. Free Children’s Saturday events are held there on Saturdays 11 – 16.

Nursery rooms

Ideapark’s newest and best equipped childcare room, Naperoparkki, can be found on the 2nd floor opposite the elevator at the north end. There are also fun things for the little ones to do in the nursery rooms. The nursery has separate toilets, a microwave and a breastfeeding corner. Smaller childcare rooms can also be found at all sanitary facilities on the street level. Dogs or other pets are not allowed in the nursery rooms.

Ticket service

Ideapark’s info point at Central Square sells tickets from Lippupiste, Ticketmaster and Tiketti. Ticket sales close half an hour before the info point closes. Tickets can also be paid with Smartum culture vouchers, SmartumPay mobile application, Virike vouchers, Edenred card and MyEdenred mobile applications and ePass.

Lost & found

Found goods are delivered to Ideapark’s information point on the edge of Central Square. From there they are delivered to Lost and Found office of Pirkanmaa every Monday. From there, you can inquire about them on the phone number 0600 300 758 (€1.94/min + local network tarif). Read more here.

Guidance

At the entrances and Cenral Square there are information posts where you can find digital touch screen maps. Also our information desk in Central Square will be happy to help. Paper maps are also available at the information desk.

ATM

Ideapark has three ATM’s and one Deposit machine. Otto-ATM is located in B-square under the escalators opposite H&M, Otto-Deposit machine is in C-square under the escalators opposite Your Face, and two Nosto-ATM’s are in D-end opposite the Prisma cash desks next to Oma Säästöpankki.

Postal services

Ideapark has two mailboxes at the A and D entrances next to the escalators. At the D-end of Ideapark (on both sides of the escalators) there are also three parcel machines: SmartPOST, Pakettipiste (Matkahuolto, Postnord and DHL parcels) and Budbee.

Bottle recycling

Bottle recycling machines of Prisma are located at the D end between Emotion and Alko. Alko bottles can also be returned there, and you’ll find the Tomra SER recycling point as well.

Toilets

There are five free toilets on the street level, inclufing accessible toilets, and they all have have a childcare room. On the second floor there are two toilets.

Shoemaker

The shoemaker of Ideapark is in the Old Town, and handles shoe repairs, keys, sharpening and signage service quickly and affordably.

Storage lockers

Ideapark has 100 clothes storage lockers and 500 smaller storage lockers. The storage lockers are located near the toilets. Their use is free, but they require a deposit of €1. Some lockers have a code lock for which no deposit is required.
