Responsibility is built with common actions and values
We strive to build a sustainable community and communal spirit in Ideapark, which will help us achieve more.
Cooperation with other actors is an established method for us, and it has become useful not only in our own responsibility work but also in our partners’ responsibility work. We have created numerous new solutions and opportunities for our customers and our partners’ customers. These actions have proved effective, and the impacts of small actions have been great.
We think it is great that we can work together with partners with shared values and build something new.
Our concrete actions include:
- Ideapark features the Ideakappeli chapel maintained by the Lempäälä parish, which Ideapark’s customers can visit to take a break and quiet down.
- Ideapark has strong partnership in sports. The home of the floorball team Classic (home game hall, offices, etc.) is in Ideapark. Ideapark supports many different sports clubs.
- Every year, we make donations to selected charities, targeting low-income families with children and those living alone in the Pirkanmaa region.
- We engage in broad-based cooperation with educational institutions, such as Tredu and VAAO.
- We offer schools, scouts and non-profit parties the opportunity to use our facilities free of charge for events or promotions, for instance.
- We actively cooperate with, for example, the Finnish Red Cross’s Blood Service, the Organisation for Respiratory Health in Finland and Pirkanmaa Reserviläispiiri ry.
- We work in close cooperation with the municipality of Lempäälä. Advance voting and coronavirus vaccination have taken place in Ideapark.
- We regularly survey customers, tenants and employees on the success of various campaigns and events. We take these results into account in the development of our operations.
- Sometimes we make mistakes. We can acknowledge our mistakes and apologize.
