Health and Well-being

We encourage customers to stay active and take care of themselves

We are known for the fact that we tend to do things boldly and often in a completely different way than others do.

We also bear our responsibility for the health and well-being of our visitors. Taking care of them is essential for the success of Ideapark. We encourage customers to exercise and take care of themselves regardless of their age. We constantly develop and offer them interesting services and events, because for us responsibility means deeds, not just caring.

Our concrete actions include:

  • Most of our events are free of charge, so that everyone can participate regardless of income. We organise events on a broad scale, from concerts to balls and from sports events to stick horse show jumping.
  • The PiiPoo centre for art and culture operating in Ideapark provides culture services for the needs of different groups (children, seniors and those in need of special support). Ideapark hosts free Children’s Saturday events in PiiPoo all year round in cooperation with PiiPoo, the municipality of Lempäälä and Ideapark.
  • We have been organising guided shopping centre walks for years to enable safe access for seniors. The PiiPoo centre for art and culture, Fysios Mehiläinen and the municipality of Lempäälä participate in this cooperation project.
  • For many years, we have also organised Vaunuväen Treffit events (Baby Buggy Dates), offering peer support and networking for families with children.
  • We are involved in a number of campaigns that support exercise opportunities for children with limited means (e.g., the Pallo Pyörii and Anna mahdollisuus campaigns).
  • You can try more than 50 different sports in Bläk Boks at Ideapark. In addition, Ideapark has two different dance schools, a gym and parkour facilities.
  • Ideapark has service providers for physiotherapy, massages, beauty, social services, outpatient rehabilitation services for substance abuse, hairdressing and occupational health care.
  • The daytime events we organise enable event organisers and artists to work in humane conditions, for example in terms of performance hours. We treat event organisers and artists with hospitality.
  • As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Ideapark was awarded a COVID-19 Compliant certificate in 2021 and 2022 in recognition of its merits in the health safety of its customers. This involved, for example, treating the contact surfaces of the common areas of Ideapark with a nanocoating that eradicates bacteria based on photocatalysis.
